Left Coast Folk Live Music
Folk Music, like all music, brings people together. Left Coast Folk is an intimate listening room for musicians and audiences to come together. We feature some of the finest songwriters and musicians from the Bay Area and beyond.
Left Coast Folk is the home of 'Celebrating Songwriters,' a monthly concert series that showcases local and national contemporary folk musicians. The series' creator, Caren Armstrong, hosts this remarkable unplugged acoustic series in our "living room style" venue--making for an extraordinary evening of music and community. Musicians perform both solo and in-the-round sets. 2010 will mark the 13th year of 'Celebrating Songwriters.'

In addition to 'Celebrating Songwriters,' Left Coast Folk also hosts select featured performers each month. We are honored to provide a space for some of this country's finest songwriters to come in, make themselves at home, pick up their guitars, mandolins, harmonicas, keyboards...even banjos, and grace us with their work.
